Toy maker Kidrobot expanding presence in Boulder

Kidrobot, a toy manufacturer that moved its headquarters to Boulder from New York in 2010, is preparing to expand its presence in the city.

The company, which also makes apparel and pop culture accessories, announced on its website this week it will be opening its first Colorado store late next month. The 800-square-foot store will be at 1468 Pearl St. and will be the seventh for the company.

“The Kidrobot store in Boulder has been a long time in the making, and we are all excited to open the doors soon,” company president Bob Africa said in a message on the company’s website.
