Mexican fixed-line operator Telmex has signed a partnership agreement with Wi-Fi services provider Boingo Wireless. The agreement allows Telmex’s Infinitum subscribers to access Wi-Fi internet services outside Mexico at discounted prices via the Boingo Wireless network. Telmex Infinitum subscribers who travel outside Mexico and access the Boingo Wi-Fi network will receive discounts ranging between 25 and 66 percent. Customers can opt for the Boingo Movil, Boingo Ilimitado and Boingo Global packages.
Boingo is present in over 100 countries with over 700 Wi-Fi hotspots. Telmex has over 5,600 ‘Movil en Infinitum’ Wi-Fi hotpots deployed in airports, squares, schools, malls and other public spaces across Mexico.
