MTN Appoints Chris Leber as Executive Vice President of Commercial Business Development

Miramar, Fla., March 18, 2013 —MTN Satellite Communications (MTN) announces the appointment of Chris Leber as executive vice president, commercial business development. Mr. Leber will drive the business development and strategy for MTN’s commercial market segments — the cruise, yacht, commercial, and oil & gas industries.

Mr. Leber brings more than 30 years of extensive business development, strategy, sales, profit and loss (P&L), and marketing experience in the communications and satellite sectors. Most recently, he served as vice president of business development at ViaSat. He also served as vice president and general manager of VSAT networks at ViaSat. Prior to that, he held executive roles at Global Access International and Comsat Corporation/Lockheed Martin. Mr. Leber is a tenured leader in building and leading satellite and communications product and service initiatives, managing P&L, growing start-ups, and directing complex global satellite network projects.
